11 De Diciembre Día Internacional del Tango
Ben Molar impulsó la instauración del 'Día Nacional del Tango', que se festeja en todo el mundo cada 11 de diciembre, en conmemoración a las fechas de nacimiento de los creadores de dos vertientes del tango:
"La Voz" (Carlos Gardel, el zorzal criollo, ídolo y figura representativa del tango, nacido el 11 de diciembre de 1890) y
"La Música" (Julio De Caro, gran director de orquesta y renovador del género, nacido el 11 de diciembre de 1899).
December 11th International Tango Day
Ben Molar started the observance of an "International Day of Tango", which is celebrated all over the world on December 11th, in commemoration of the birthdates of two men who embodied the two essential parts of tango:
"The Voice" (Carlos Gardel, representative figure and idol of tango, born December 11, 1890) and
"The Music" (Julio De Caro, orchestra conductor and renewer of the genre, born December 11, 1899).
